Darksiders Signature Series Strategy Guide (Bradygames Signature Guides)

Normally I prefer to pick up guides for more in depth games. I use them to help make sure I don't miss one chance only items and track down collectibles, so I can spend my time enjoying the game, not running in circles looking for something I missed. Unfortunately, this guide actually made that worse. There are two chests listed in the first stage of the game, the Seraphim Hotel, that do not exist. Other chests are incorrectly labeled, missing from maps, or their contents are listed wrong. The most important feature in any guide is accuracy, and this one falls pretty short. Get it for the maps, artwork, etc. if you want, but for information, you are probably better off relying on [...] and other online resources where needed. The inaccuracy here is pretty disappointing.

The guide for the most part is very well put together when it comes to getting through the game it has some pretty good detail where to go next and what to do and boss strategies but there are quite few things incomplete some strategies it just don't tell you much info how to complete the next objective then there's the chests in the game you look at map in guide where they are and there are no chests in sight and the ones that are where they should be have different item then what guide says now to the collectibles the soldier/champion/overlord artifacts for the most past there accurate but there are some huge mistakes but so far the Adyssal Armor and the trophies/achievements are very accurate the mistakes hold the guide back a bit but i was able to find most the collectibles on my own so it's a pretty good guide but not great guide it's nice to have the help with the game but keep in mind there are quite few mistakes in it.

Me and my husband normally use guides to find the Items and chest. Sometimes if we get stuck we might use it to help us out. This guide was of no help at all most of the chest were not where the guide said they should be and when we did get stuck and needed help out the guide did little to explain what to do. If you just like to collect them for the art then its perfect but for this game we spent more time looking up what we needed from online walkthoughs then we did using it for the game.
