This guide does have several good points. It looks good and has some nice artwork in it.
+ The maps are pretty good considering the size and multilevel 3D layout of many of the areas. It points out where to find all the hidden stuff. They would be better with some indicators to link the connection points of different levels.
+ The walkthroughs usually contain 3 main paths: Stealth (no fighting), stealth combat (with non-lethal combat and no alarms) and lethal combat. Those aren't usually the only paths available, but it's enough help for people who get stuck no matter their play style. I beat the game the first time through without the guide. But this helped me find every item in every nook and cranny on my subsequent playthroughs.

Good guide book. They give you three different options for most every quest (stealth, stealth combat, and combat) allowing you to choose how you want to play the game. And maps at the start of each chapter showing where most everything that can be found in the game is. They don't get everything, and they are basing the book as if you pre-ordered from one of the sites (not Amazon) that has the "automatic unlocks" available. If you did not pre-order from one of those locations, the book will show you objects that simply do not exist in your version of the game.
