Not only was this book incredibly useful for my music education graduate work, but it has come in SO handy for me as a teacher, especially when I have to meet with administrators and I am involved in non-music school activities (special ed, curriculum, counselors, etc). I am using it as a general education reference CONSTANTLY. My principal has also borrowed it several times to clarify terminology. I echo the other reviewer's sentiment: GET IT!! GET IT!! GET IT!!

This book is as close as indispensible as it gets. It has every term connnected to music education that one can think of, and then some. Absolutely one of the best book investments I've ever made.
I'll say it again: GET IT!! GET IT!!! GET IT!!!!
