3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but what about hard mode?, June 2, 2001

This book helps a lot at first but when the puzzles change, it is useless. Most of the puzzles on hard mode are different and this book does not have any solutions to them.

Fear Effect 2 - which takes place BEFORE the original Fear Effect, is a great game. The problem is - it's very complicated. This guide is a must have for the dedicated completionist. The walk-through and item guides are great. Some of the screenshots featured in the guide are hard to interpret but that is due to the game, not due to the quality of the book. The game events take place in less than well lit surroundings, so this is expected. The guide contains some cheats at the end but be warned - none of the cheats will work until you've already COMPLETED the game once. Good Luck. Best Regards, turtlex.
