Product Review

The game features multi-player capability, realistic graphics, force feedback, new planes, more airports, and satellite imagery. Learn all the tips, tricks, insights, and strategies with this "Inside Moves" title.

Amazon.com Review

Microsoft Flight Simulator, with its emphasis on mimicking as closely as possible the true feel of six different airplanes, sits in a position very close to where a game becomes a tool. Gary Meredith's book occupies a similar position. The focus is clearly on learning to have the most fun with the software, but along the way the reader learns a lot about the real world of flying and aviation history. With the addition of Meredith's sense of humor, you may forget you're reading a game book and become engrossed in a chapter.

This review is from: Flight Simulator (EU-Inside Moves) (Paperback)
Clearly not written by a pilot, this book is no more than a rehash of FS95's existing online documentation & help, with a few extras thrown in that any idiot could find for himself on the internet.

The promises extended by the cover (and avertising copy) about this book include "Cross-Country Flight Navigation"... on this and ALL other subjects in the book, the detail is light, the exercises scanty and unstructured.

This book is a rip-off! I will be returning my copy today.
