While it doesn't have as much information as the Halo Encyclopedia, I think they did well in choosing what details to include in this book. It's also a much better organized book, free of the typos and other mistakes that unfortunately plagued the Encyclopedia. Entries are limited to people, places, and things that appeared in the games, but elements of the extended Halo universe do at least get mentioned in the entries. The images generally look very good, though those of the Halo Wars vehicles are understandably lower resolution than the rest. The book is also fairly portable, being quite a bit smaller than the massive DK tomes you might be used to. It's definitely worth the price for a fan of the franchise.

Very nice! A great little ready reckoner for anything to do with the Halo universe. Perfect for my 10-year old son who doesn't have the attention span for the larger Halo encylopedia. Including Halo Reach information this is a handy guide for both new & old fans of the Halo franchise - highly recommended

Great book for a Halo fan. My only issue is that the book is in alphabetical order about individual items of the Halo world. I would have enjoyed reading it more if it were grouped in time line order by Covenant and UNSC. It would have made it more the story of Halo, and not a kind of cold reference book. Still, it has lots of good information in it about the Halo universe. Definitely worth it for any fan of Halo.
