Comment: In all seriousness, what is the use of buying this map guide when you could buy the full guide with ACTUAL strategy (and the maps)? The maps aren't that great either, but they are accurate and I give them credit for that. The book lists the secrets (again, which you can find in the full guide). The only things relatively new here are the tactical notes for every mission, but still, what is the use of this guide? Don't get the map guide. It's a waste of time and money. Get the full guide by prima which has all of the stuff thrown in this book...but more!

Summary: Good game, good book 1999-06-29
Comment: I've been playin quake since it came out and I have beatin it millions of times. Though I've played every level too many times, it becomes very easy to get lost in these addictively horrifying ruins. If you want to beat the game this is a must.
