It's just as good and detailed. You probably could use the Gamecube version for this game, but if you don't have that guide, it's always better to go to the one that covers the console you're playing. Now, the guide is about the same. I could be a weenie like most of those reviewers and say, "See my review for the Gamecube version," but I'm not going to sink that low, because it's inconvenient for you, the reader. But the only additional things you should know is that all the extras are covered in tact. Most noteably is how well it covers "Separate Ways", Ada's new mission in this one. Other than that, the guide is about the same as it was for the Gamecube version. BradyGAMES is known for presenting good Resident Evil guides, and Resident Evil 4 is no exception. One of the best RE4 resources you'll ever need. It was great to discover that one company knew what they were doing when it came to walkthrough-writing.
HIGHLIGHTS * The maps are incredibly detailed, pointing out the position of every item. * The art is top quality, and the poster is a nice addition to my wall. :) * Includes plenty of screenshots detailing what you need to do. * Has walkthroughs on all unlockables, including Assignment Ada. * Includes Mercenaries maps and guide. (I was stoked about that one) * Items section in case you just can't figure out what that certain item is used for. * Enemies section pointing out weaknesses and attacks. I've yet to see a guidebook beat this one. It was very well written, and got the job done. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Resident Evil 4 (Bradygames Signature Series Official Strategy Guide) (Paperback) A friend introduced me to Resident Evil 4, and after several gruesome deaths during the course of the game I thought that maybe I should by the walk-through book. I first purchased one from a differant company, but found it to be unsatisfactory, and looked for and located a copy of this Bradygames version, which I have been extremely pleased with. The information and maps provided for game play are excellent, to the point where you can be totally prepared for what's around the next corner if you decide to read ahead, or you can just forge ahead, and then go back and read in the book where you messed up after you die, and do it better the next time. Some people might think it spoils the game to be prepared before hand, but it can easily make the game more enjoyable, and this walk-through definately makes it more so, if you decide to play that way. It's an excellent resource, and a definate must for any serious player. |
