The Lord of The Rings: The Return of the King Strategy Battle Game

Comment: I believe that this rulebook makes a nice addition to the two previous rulebooks: Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. As with the previous two rulebooks, it gives you all of the general movement and combat rules with an additions of some new rules.

A general overview of the table of contents as follows:

1. Introduction to the Game Rules
- In case this is your first copy of a LOTR rulebook, they cover all of the basic game rules such as: How the game turns work, the move phase, the shooting phase, the fighting phase and cavalry.

2. Advanced Rules
- Some of the advanced rules cover Courage, Heroes, Weapons, Banners and Forces.

3. The Free Peoples
- You are given a list of all the good heroes and warriors in the ROTK expansion.

4. Forces of Darkness
- This section lists all of the evil heroes and warriors and also provides setup details for 12 different scenarios.

5. The War of the Ring
- This section provides information on some of the good heroes, assembling the miniatures, painting your models, making terrain, and the gaming hobby itself.

Overall, you have a little bit of the same information in the beginning as you receive in the previous two rulebooks, but there are all new ROTK pictures of models used in presenting the information and all of the new scenario's and stats provided for all of the new ROTK miniatures makes this a helpful addition to the previous two rulebooks.
