Tomb Raider 4 Calendar

Let me start by saying I'm a big fan of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft. The pictures of Lara are very nice. I thought last years calendar was good, but this years is even better! If your a big fan of Lara, buy this today.

If you're a Lara Croft fan, you'll like this calendar. In addition to an image for each month, there is a "centerfold" image (not nude--but close--bikini bottom, top discretely covered). However, there is nothing even close to "R" rated... Two of the months are photos of Lara Weller, a model that Core hired as the human look-a-like stand-in for Lara Croft. (Interesting they have the same first name...) The images are what one might expect: ranging from guns blazing/threatening to poses that are a little more sexy...much like what you'll see in the strategy guides, on the game's box, or on Tomb Raider web pages. Well worth the price.

What have they done to Lara? Take one look at this calendar. They portray her as...not what she is. I thought that Lara was an adventurer. It was only a matter of time til they (Eidos) decided that she would have to be some sort of teenage boy's fantasy! I am just disappointed. The calendar is just out of character for Lara. The REAL Lara couldn't be shown here.
