So I haven't played the game yet, but this came from Amazon today. It's the first collectors strategy guide I've gotten and from what I can tell, it's nice.
The book is a solid hardcover that is well-built and won't be falling apart after ruffling through it hundreds of times. The book also comes with the soundtrack with 10 songs on it, not sure if it's missing any?
As for the details, after skimming it (don't want to spoil the game!) it shows the basics, like regular strategy guides. It also includes a back story of previous adventures, in the beginning and character models and descriptions at the back. Interjected throughout the book are comments from the developers.
Also the front insert has a map of Arabia etched into the backcover. The back of the book has some sort of hexagram thing, perhaps something in-game.
All in all, it's a nice book and worth getting.

I got the guide for the first Uncharted, which helped in getting all of the hidden treasures, and while I skipped the second, I ordered it recently. This past weekend I passed Uncharted 3 (amazing game) and now I wanted to go back and collect all of the treasures, and get all of the trophies, so I decided to get the guide. First of all, Amazon has great prices on both this and the regular edition of the guide. I almost passed on the Collector's Edition because I already had the soundtrack, but then I figured, well, for six dollars more, why not? Boy am I glad I did! I've only skimmed through the guide, but already it looks great. The cover is extremely handsome and looks like a million bucks. The soundtrack that I had thought, "eh, it's only half of what I already have--I'll stick it in my truck's CD changer for when I'm in the mood," is actually eight new tracks not available on the rest of the soundtrack! Three of them where (including Nate's Theme 3.0), but the new ones are great...Read more

On first glance this book complements the Collector's Edition of the game as far as looks and detail. The pages are very colorful on nice stock paper.The soundtrack on disc is a nice touch since most CE stuff are tending to go the digital route(Its nice to have a tangible disc I"m seriously thinking about getting another one as soon as I opened it. I am very happy and satisfied with the CE Guide.
