X-Wing Collector's CD-ROM : The Official Strategy Guide

When I bought X-wing, the strategy guide came with it, so I thought it would suck. Boy, was I wrong. It is full of everything you need to know to play. I wouldn't recommend playing without it. It is a must. I know it's out of print, but definitely try to get one!

I know of no other strategy guides that are as detailed as X-Wing and TIE Fighter, not only is an officially recognized story of the main charecter interweaven with the walkthrough of the missions, (Keyan Farlander from X-Wing is even mentioned sevrel times in The New Jedi Order series.) But the hundreds of missions are each given a careful and detailed walkthrough in the form of an after mission report. For Star Wars fan's even if you don't have or want to play this game or a system that can play this game. (Witch would be a shame even though over 15 years later it's a relitvly simple game it's still a blast.) You can still get this guide for the Farlander Papers, you can also grab the TIE Fighter guide for the Stele Chronicales, both two little known stories in the Star Wars mythos. It also includes detailed statics on every little detail of the game, and documents on all the different crafts.

This book is an excellent resource for gamers who are having trouble with missions. It contains the mission objectives for all the missions, it also has winning conditions for each mission. The book has screen shots from each mission, and a storyline involving the main character. If you are having trouble with missions or just want to know more about the game. BUY THIS BOOK!
